Lap Dancing Clubs in Co Kildare
In the east of the country, Co Kildare is one of the few landlocked counties in Ireland and is placed just to the west of capital Dublin in the ancient province of Leinster. The region is the best off (per capita) in Ireland with a mini silicon valley of HQ’s for technology companies like Hewlet Packard and Intel plus the regional centre for Pfizer chemicals. It’s known as one of the main locations of the ‘Celtic Tiger’ economy boost in the 90’s. It is also home to the biggest base of the Irish Army.
The county town is Naas with over 20,000 population, other smaller towns include Kildare itself, Newbridge and Athy. The area is mainly rural with small villages and farms rather than towns and cities. Naas is a popular commuter town for Dublin which is just journey along the N7 motorway.
The Curragh racecourse is near Newbridge and was opened in 1875, its where the world famous thoroughbred horse race ‘The Curragh Cup’ is held every year and all five of the ‘Classic’ races in Ireland amongst many others. It’s the most important flat race of the season with the biggest prize money available in Ireland. The national horse racing stud is in the county making it a centre for racing not only in the Republic but the UK and beyond.
Co Kildare also has a single strip club, The Chicken Shack in Newbridge. If you are in town for the racing you might want to check them out at the Milltown Inn.
With the capital so near and all the towns fairly small it’s fair to say that you cant expect Las Vegas in Co Kildare, there probably wont be many more added. Better to take the short trip to Dublin.
Kildare is a centre of the Irish language, so you might want to polish up your Gaelic.
