Lap Dancing Clubs in Bridgend
The County of Bridgend lies along the south coast of Wales, half way between Swansea in the west and Cardiff in the east. Once part of Glamorgan, it’s now an authority in its own right. It has a population of just over a hundred thousand making it very small compared to the others, based mainly in the south and centre. It’s main town is county town Bridgend on the Ogmore River that has nearly 50 thousand inhabitants and has expanded rapidly in the last thirty years. Its placed near the M4 which runs from Llanelli over to Bristol in England.
The area has one strip venue in Bridgend town in Market Street called Secrets Lounge, but the town has loads of pubs and at least one dedicated regular nightclub although many pubs have a music venue upstairs in the locality. The area has many rock groups to call its own including Bullet For My Valentine and Funeral For A Friend, Steve Strange and pot smoking lad celebrity Howard Marks who was born at Kenfig Hill. Marks had a movie made about him called Mr Nice (the name of his autobiography) staring fellow Welshman Rhys Ifans, and Chloë Sevigny as his wife Judy.
Other famous people from Bridgend (the town or the county) include rugby players Gavin Henson and Gareth Thomas, First Minister for Wales (at time of writing) Carwyn Jones, BBC news reader Huw Edwards and Gavin & Stacey actress Ruth Jones.
There was extensive mining and quarrying in the area as well as heavy industry and production but now mostly relies on shopping and services, the area has a large outlet shopping centre. Ford Motor plant is the biggest single employer with over 2000 employees near the town of Bridgend.
But unless you are in the Market Street area of Bridgend you wont be enjoying strip entertainment! Hopefully more clubs will be added soon.
